History of the English Language

Today, we will delve into the history of the English language. We will look at why spelling and pronunciation are so frustrating at times. We will also begin our "Daily Vocabulary" or word of the day procedure today. After learning about the history of English words, we will look at resources to find the etymology of other words. Our collection of words will be due on Friday.
